Grant Writing
The Van Buren Research and Development provides grant writing services to a variety of clients. This process involves a team writing approach that will include members of the client organization, identified by the client as key stakeholders or contributors to the development of a funding proposal.
Interested clients should submit a letter of introduction, which includes critical contact information and an Abstract of the potential funding proposal to dpratley@vbisd.org. The Foundation typically will not entertain writing proposals that are seeking funding for less than $10,000, but exceptions are made for existing clients.
The cost of providing this service is a fee of 2% of the funding being sought in the proposal up to a maximum of $2,000. However, 50% of the writing fee will be waived if the client designates the Van Buren Research and Development Foundation as the evaluator of the grant, if an evaluation component is a grant requirement.
